This documentary gives a really great overview of minimalism and what it is truly about. If you have never heard of minimalism before and want to learn more about the benefits then I would highly recommend watching this documentary.
TV Shows:
This TV show by the queen of organisation herself shows just how impactful decluttering your life can be. She goes into the homes of various different familes coping with different scenarios and gives practical tips on how you at home can get start on decluttering your own life.
Books:
This book explains why we don’t need to live a life free from hardships and challenges to lead a happy and fulfilling life. He explains the relationship between happiness and productivity and why they are inextricably linked.
If you have never heard of Hygge before, this is the perfect book to convince you of its valuableness. This book describes what hygge is and how to obtain it, but it also explains the benefits in ways that nothing else I have read on the subject has done. Whether you are a positive psychology nerd like me or you just want a little more fulfillment in your life, I highly recommend this book.
Podcasts:
This podcast was one of the main things that got me started on my own journey towards minimalism. In their podcast The Minimalists touch on many different subjects and answer more in depth questions about minimalism. I also find this very calming to listen to if I am feeling anxious.
Online Courses:
If you take this course seriously, I genuinely believe that it has the power to change your life. This course explains in great detail the misconceptions we have about happiness, why we have them, how our brain works in regards to happiness and what stuff we can do that will actually boost our happiness.
